Piano Circle

Penrith Music Club’s Piano Circle normally meets once a month for members to play to one another, although non-players are also welcome. In addition master classes and concerts by pupils are organised.

2023/24 Season

We meet in September, November, January, March and May, normally on 3rd Wednesday at 1:30pm in Penrith Methodist Church. In addition we have workshops and a joint concert with South Lakes Piano Circle. We are a friendly and supportive group. New members includes observers are always welcome. Out of the shadow: Clara Schumann workshop : Rounding off 2019 we focussed our discussions and playing on Clara Schumann, composer, concert pianist, teacher and of course, wife of Robert Schumann.

Chopin workshop: The Piano Circle held a Chopin workshop at its meeting in June 2019.
